FAQs

We’ve put together a list of questions we’re commonly asked by our clients.

If you have questions that we not answered below, please get in touch by emailing enquiries@thewealthoffice.co.uk or call us on 0141 739 5466.

We are based in the centre of Glasgow and welcome clients to visit our office.

However in the current climate it has become important to provide a virtual meeting option. We are able to carry out any client meetings online upon request via video call and screen sharing.

There are car parks at Queen Street Station accessed from North Hanover St, NCP Glasgow George St (accessed from Montrose st) and NCP The Glasshouse on Glassford St.

No this is at our expense. The relationship we develop with our clients is important us. The the initial meeting is our investment into the relationship we aim to develop.

Just an openness to sharing your life story to date. It’s important we find out what’s important to you, and what you would like to achieve. Aside from that, it is also helpful to bring details of any existing financial arrangements you would like to discuss.

Absolutely not.

This can be arranged by emailing us at enquiries@thewealthoffice.co.uk, or call us on 0141 739 5466 and we can go through the details with you.

Yes. As independent Financial Planners, we have the authority to make whole of market recommendations. The solutions we provide are completely bespoke to you, helping us deliver the best outcome for you.

This isn’t something we can provide advice for but can make an introduction to a pension transfer specialist.

We discuss and agree all fees rather than simply disclosing them. We will undertake significant initial work at our cost to establish where and how we can help.

If we subsequently engage, then our advice inevitably has a cost. We don’t pretend to be cheap or want to be. But it’s important we add value and if we can’t, we’d rather walk away.

Testimonials

My previous adviser came across as not wanting to give me advice, and I knew I needed to do some financial planning but couldn’t see the link between planning and my desired outcomes. Kenny came in and brushed those concerns aside.
Kenny recommended a strategy that was best suited to me and meeting my goals. It felt like Kenny was on the journey with me, reviewing my goals and attitudes to risk. I didn’t feel alone with Kenny.

I started investing small amounts into my pensions, but wasn’t convinced I was investing correctly if I was to meet my goal of retiring before 60.
Kenny I and discussed my goals and my current finances to ensure my ongoing plan was affordable. The relationship I developed with Kenny has helped immensely, as it feels like a partnership in which I have input, but all the hard work is done by Kenny and his team. The long-term results have been great as a result of this relationship.

MR ANDREWS

I wasn’t able to give much time to my finances, and had no idea how to maximise them. I was at a crossroads and seriously needed to look at my long term planning.
I felt my finances were more complex than necessary, and it made me feel nervous and anxious. There were too many policy options to consider.
Kenny took an overall view and came up with a simplified, better performing plan with everything under one umbrella. Kenny took the worry off my shoulders, meaning I’m now far less stressed about my finances.
